All About me...

       I've had a crazy passion for makeup ever since I was a young girl.  At 12  I started volunteering in Broadway scale productions at a local church.  The first makeup I ever applied to someone's face was two perfect red circles on a drummer boy's cheeks and from then... I was hooked.  By 15, I became the MUA for the leads in their shows and was also doing makeup for all of my school district's productions.  After high school I decided to further my passion and make it my career by going to beauty school.  I was blessed right out of school and was hired by one of the most prestigious salons in Central Pennsylvania.  From then, I worked as a nail technician and esthetician in salons but always had my side business and true passion; makeup.  Makeup by Chelsea was established in 2004 and has been growing ever since!   I started my first year with only 6 weddings and now average 50 weddings a year!  I also do a lot of work with production companies keeping people looking natural, but camera ready.  I'm so blessed to get "the call" for some really neat and one of a  kind opportunities!  Last year I had the pleasure of doing Vice President Mike Pence for The Hannity Show on FOX News and got to sit in his seat to do the sound check to NY prior to his arrival!  Previously, I've had some once in a lifetime experiences including the picture above... my day with world renowned photographer, Annie Leibovitz.  I had the pleasure of applying her makeup for her Gallery opening in Gettysburg, PA.  I also had a day of laughs working with Gary Dell'Abate(Baba Booey) and Jon Hein from the Howard Stern Show on a TV show for VH1(pictured below).    Along with those incredible experiences, I work on the annual RV Show for HGTV and with multiple other companies throughout the year from all over the country.  I feel like one of the luckiest people in the world to have had all of the amazing opportunities I have had, and to live out my passion every day of my life.  A special thank you to my family, friends, and all of the people I have worked with throughout the years who have shaped me into the artist I am today!

  

SO WHAT'S IN MY KIT???

A huge mix every beauty line under the sun!  I use a lot of Tarte, IT Cosmetics, Laura Geller, Too Faced, MAKEUP FOREVER, Urban Decay, Nars, MAC and many many more!
The airbrush line I've used for 10+ years is Dinair and I couldn't be more happy with it!
I can't wait to share my favorite beauty products and create a personalized look for you!
